Mike “DJ Groovin’ Mike” Harrell got his start in the Event Entertainment industry in 1998 as an
Assistant DJ/Videographer for All-Tune DJ based in Felton, Delaware. Mike quickly learned how
to operate the DJ equipment, and displayed excellent Emcee skills, enabling him to become an
Assistant DJ, then a Lead DJ. Mike performed for many years for the company, then branched
out on his own. He became the “House DJ” for a restaurant/night club called WT Smithers in
Dover, DE in 2008, and performed there until 2015. In 2010, Mike also became the “House DJ”
for Salero, an elegant rooftop venue in Rehoboth Beach, DE performing in that role for several
years. He relocated to the Eastern Shore of MD, and went to work for Bar Crawler
Entertainment! Mike has performed hundreds of events, from Birthday and Anniversary Parties
to elegant Weddings, and loves to get out on the floor, lead line dances, and “Groove” with the
crowd! Mike is also a skilled Emcee who mixes “club style”, blending one dance song to the
next and keeping the dance floor moving! Mike is thrilled to be a part of the Bar Crawler
Entertainment lineup, and is ready to “Groove” at your event.
